Course description
To work from a lift, you must have documented theoretical and practical knowledge. You must also have written permission from the person responsible at the workplace.
According to the law, the person who drives/uses lifts must have documented theoretical and practical knowledge. This is documented through Ausab’s lift course. In addition to the diploma, a driving permit is needed at each workplace that the driver will work with a lift.
Lift training – What does the law say?
According to AFS 2006:6 § 29, a lifting device may only be used by those who are familiar with the work and who have documented theoretical and practical knowledge for safe use. Employers shall keep documentation of the worker’s theoretical and practical knowledge.
In addition, the worker must have the written permission of the employer to use a lift. The regulation’s comments to section 29 state that the Swedish standard provides advice on content for training drivers of mobile work platforms. The Swedish standard is SS -ISO 18878:2013 Mobile work platforms – Training for operators (drivers).

Certificat: After passing the exam, diplomas are sent to the course participants, electronically
Certificat validity: he certificate is valid for 5 years from the date the certificate was taken.
Basic requirements: At least 18 years of age.
